Your Gift Deserves to Be Heard: Calling Independent Gospel Artists

Some of the most powerful gospel music never makes it onto mainstream radio. We believe it's time to give more of those voices an opportunity to be heard.

Somewhere today, a gifted pianist is composing a beautiful melody that may never be recorded professionally.

A young singer is sharing an original song at a local church.

A poet is carefully putting words together that speak of grace, forgiveness, redemption, and the hope of Christ's return.

A small gospel group is rehearsing faithfully, not for recognition or applause, but because they believe God has given them something meaningful to share.

These are the voices we want to discover.

Talent Is Not Limited to the Famous

At Sabbath Sound Radio, we believe that God distributes gifts and talents without regard to popularity, financial resources, record contracts, or social media followers.

Some of the most heartfelt and spiritually moving musical performances come from individuals whose names may never appear on a national gospel music chart.

Yet their ministries are no less valuable.

The Bible reminds us in 1 Peter 4:10 that the gifts we receive are to be used in service to others.

For a musician, that gift may be a melody. For a poet, it may be a carefully spoken verse. For a singer, it may be a song of encouragement that reaches someone at precisely the right moment.

When offered in service to God, those gifts can become instruments of ministry.

A Platform for Independent Christian Artists

Sabbath Sound Radio is preparing to create opportunities for independent and emerging gospel artists to share their work with a broader listening audience.

We are especially interested in connecting with Seventh-day Adventist recording artists while welcoming other Christian artists whose music and message align with our station's mission and biblical values.

We are seeking:

  • Solo gospel singers and vocal groups

  • Choirs and praise ensembles

  • Pianists and other sacred instrumentalists

  • Independent Christian songwriters and composers

  • Christian poets and spoken word artists

  • Emerging recording artists and established performers with uplifting, Christ-centered music

Whether your style reflects traditional gospel, sacred classical music, contemporary Christian music, acoustic worship, or another expression of Christian faith, we would love to learn about your ministry.

More Than Airplay

Our vision is not simply to add recordings to a playlist.

We want listeners to get to know the people and stories behind the music.

As our programming develops, we hope to feature artist interviews, personal testimonies, conversations about songwriting, and special presentations that introduce audiences to the experiences that inspire Christian creativity.

Imagine listeners hearing not only a meaningful song, but also the story of how its message came to life.

Perhaps the song was written during a season of grief. Perhaps it emerged from answered prayer. Perhaps the artist was inspired by a favorite passage of Scripture.

These stories can deepen the listening experience and remind us that behind every recording is a person with a journey of faith.

Your Ministry Could Encourage Someone You've Never Met

One of the remarkable things about Christian broadcasting is that we may never know how a message affects the person receiving it.

A listener searching for hope may hear a song about God's faithfulness.

Someone experiencing loneliness may hear a poem that reminds them they have not been forgotten.

A person struggling spiritually may hear a testimony that encourages them to return to Christ.

The artist may never meet that listener, but the ministry of the message can still have an impact.

This is why your contribution matters.

Are You Ready to Share Your Gift?

If you are an independent gospel artist, instrumentalist, singer, poet, or spoken word performer, we invite you to introduce yourself to Sabbath Sound Radio.

Tell us about your ministry, the type of music or creative work you produce, and the message you hope to share.

We welcome inquiries from artists at different stages of their creative journey. Recordings submitted for broadcast consideration must be your original work or otherwise properly authorized for broadcast.

Our team will review submissions for potential programming opportunities as the station develops.
